BBC One Show & the Minelabowners

I was asked by a friend of mine Mark Gorton from MMA Multi Media Arts if I was still doing the hobby of metal detecting, Mark & I have worked together before on another Tv Program to do with Metal Detecting so when he was asked to make one for the BBC he got in touch with me & asked if it I know of a place where treasure had been found with a lot of history? I told Mark about the Corfe Castle Celtic Hoard found by Me & 2 friends, I met Mark & his Producer Luke McLaughlin  & Tv Presenter Neil Oliver at the field where the coins were found to talk about making the Program for the One Show & this is what we made. I'm member of the worlds largest on line Metal Detecting Website & we are known as the Minelabowners www.minelabowners.com We at Minelabowners were very please to have been asked to take part in the making on this, This has been a bench mark for both detectorists & archaeologists working side by side recording History as it comes out of the ground on land & in water, it just shows that we can work together with top results. Just like to add If you have not had a go at the hobby you are missing out on some great fun & a chance of finding something really good the hobby is open to all young & old, hope to see you out in a field soon one day.
